8th Annual Community Heroes Celebration

The Children’s Safety Village of Central Florida recognizes local heroes who have made a positive impact in keeping the children of Central Florida safe.

The Community Heroes Celebration awards are open to all residents, first responders, safety educators, and community builders who live, work, or attend school in one of the three Central Florida counties: Orange, Seminole, and Osceola.

Individuals or groups may receive one of four Awards: Young Heroes Award, Safety Education Award, First Responder Award, or Central Florida Community Builder Award.

The theme for 2025 is Celestial Soiree, it promises to be a night of stars, celebration and fun. The evening begins with a reception hosted by Orange County Fire Rescue at 6:00 pm, followed by dinner in Junior Ballroom F at 7:00 pm, followed by the Community Heroes Celebration Awards Ceremony beginning at 8:00 pm. Attendees will be entertained by a local high school jazz band, can bid on great auction items, dine on great cuisine and dance the night away at the end.

If you cannot attend but would like to donate to the Children's Safety Village to show your support, donations can be made by check, payable to the Children's Safety Village, a 501c3 non-profit organization; please note in the memo that the funds will be allocated toward the Community Heroes Celebration. Donations are tax-deductible by law.
