Welcome to the 8th Annual Billie Holiday Jazz in the Square Concert!
Join us for an afternoon of peacfeul vibes and community as we enjoy the sounds of talented jazz musicians honoring the legendary Billie Holiday.
Inside St. James Episocopal Church you will find an exhibition detailing the history of nightlife and live music venues throughout the city, as well as a screening of the PBS documentary Jubilee: St. James at 200, (directed by Russell Sharman). The 65-minute film chronicles the 200-year history of the oldest African American Episcopal Church in the Southern United States.
Bring your friends, family, and a picnic blanket for a relaxing afternoon. This FREE in-person event features renowned Peabody Jazz instructors , food, vendors, and community resources for everyone to enjoy.
