8th Annual American Legion Youth Fishing Derby

Welcome to the **8th Annual American Legion Youth Fishing Derby**! Join us at the Catch and Release Pond for a day of fun and fishing. Bring your family and friends for a chance to win prizes and enjoy the great outdoors. Don't forget to pack your fishing gear and sunscreen for this exciting event. We can't wait to see you there!

March 29th, this free event will be open to the first 100 registrants in three age categories: 8 and under, 9-13, and 13 to 17. Medals will be awarded to boys or girls who catch the largest fish (based on weight and age group) before being returned to the water. Each registrant will receive a free hot dog, chips, and drinks. Adults can purchase food & drinks from All Cooped Up in Az.

Kids are encouraged to bring their own fishing poles, but the we will have some poles on hand for use. Bait will be extremely limited, so each contestant is also encouraged to bring his/her own bait (treble hooks are s not allowed on lures).
