Comics for the Night:
Host Michael Palmenderi performs an energetic physical performance which is both immersive and hilarious as he takes you through his struggles with chronic pain, singing everything like he’s in a musical, and being hairy in an increasingly hairless world. Michael has a background in theatre and trained at the Second City Chicago where he graduated from the Conservatory Program. He’s worked in multiple theatrical productions and has provided spirit fingers throughout the entire Chicagoland area.
Special 815 COMEDY FEST Open Mic Winner: TBD on August 13th
Guest Feature Kimberly “KB” Marion is a dynamic comedian from Aurora, Illinois. While teaching, she crafted material that is relatable and universal. KB has performed all across the nation at such clubs such Planet Hollywood Vegas, Chicago Improv, Laugh Factory Chicago, Flapper’s Burbank and The House of Blues New Orleans. She has also headlined the Chicago’s Women Funny Festival. Along with producing shows in the Chicagoland area, KB produces and co-hosts a podcast called The Happy Corner Podcast now in its fifth season.
Main Feature Matt Drufke is a comedian, writer, lover of ham a frequent high-five giver. These are the things that make up the complex pastiche that is comedian Matt Drufke. His energetic pacing and funny material have made him a staple at comedy shows all over the Midwest for the past 15 years. A regular at all the top clubs in Chicago, Jack has delighted audiences for more than 14 years, sharing the stage with such comedic powerhouses as Bobcat Goldthwait, Dana Gould and Liza Treyger. His debut special, Jack Baker’s Disease, just passed 70,000 views on YouTube.
