80th Anniversary of VE Day - free community day with entertainment on the Square from 12 noon to 3.30pm from Mold Town Concert Band, Sharon Wallace and CanCan (band) plus military vehicle display.
We will also be joined by Rhydymwyn Valley History Society with photos and memorabilia from the former Ministry of Supply's Valley Works in the Alyn Valley.
Free hot drinks & biscuits served from the Daniel Owen Centre. There will also be a Best Dressed 1945's themed competition, judged on the day by Mayor of Mold. So come along and commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe!
