Quiz enthusiasts of the University of Dhaka, get ready! The Dhaka University Quiz Society (DUQS) proudly presents 7th Dhaka University Quiz Fest 2025 - a day-long celebration of intellect, curiosity, and the joy of learning.On 30 November 2025, the TSC Auditorium will come alive with the excitement of competition, collaboration, and discovery. From department battles to solo brilliance and the long-awaited novice finals — it’s time to celebrate knowledge like never before!
COMPETITION SEGMENTS
There will be four exclusive segments, open only to students of the University of Dhaka:
1. Inter-Department Quiz Competition
2. Inter-Hall Quiz Competition
3. Solo Quiz Competition
4. Novice Quiz Finals
INTER-DEPARTMENT QUIZ COMPETITION
Quiz Format: Mega Quiz with two rounds – Selection and Stage Round. All registered teams will compete in the selection round, and the top six will advance to the stage round.
Awards: Champion and Runner-up teams will receive attractive prizes. All members of the top six teams will receive certificates and special gifts.
Participation Fee: ৳300 per team
Rules:
● Teams must consist of three members from the same department or institute.
● Members may belong to different academic sessions.
● Only current undergraduate students (Honours 1st–4th year) are eligible.
● Master’s students who have appeared for their final exams are not eligible.
● Student ID is mandatory.

INTER-HALL QUIZ COMPETITION
Quiz Format: Mega Quiz with two rounds – Selection and Stage Round. The top six teams from the selection will face off in the final stage.
Awards: Champion and Runner-up teams will receive exciting prizes. Certificates and gifts will be awarded to all the top six teams.
Participation Fee: ৳300 per team

● Members may belong to different academic sessions.
● Only undergraduate students (Honours 1st–4th year) are eligible.
● Master’s students who have appeared for their final exams are not eligible.
● Student ID is mandatory.

SOLO QUIZ COMPETITION
Quiz Format: Mega Quiz — questions will be displayed on screen, and participants will answer on the provided sheets.

For our newly joined members (freshers), participation in the solo segment is completely free!

● Only undergraduate students (Honours 1st–4th year) are eligible.
● Master’s students who have already appeared for final exams are not eligible.

NOVICE QUIZ FINALS
Novice Quiz, a series of quiz that DUQS arranges every year to first year students, and the journey of our new quizzers reaches its grand stage! The top four teams from the DUQS Novice Quiz will compete in the Novice Quiz Finals, to be held on 30 November 2025 at the TSC Auditorium.
This segment is free of cost — a celebration of beginnings, learning, and the vibrant spirit of fresh talent at DU.
