7th Annual Puzzle Mania!

Welcome to the 7th Annual Puzzle Mania! Join us on September 21, 2025 from 1-4pm for a fun-filled afternoon of puzzling challenges at the Landis-McCleaf Marine Corps League in Chambersburg, PA. Get ready to put your brain to the test and showcase your puzzle-solving skills! As always, Puzzle Mania promises excitement, laughter, and friendly competition for a cause. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned puzzler, there's something for everyone.

• Cost is $25 per person or $100 per team. Teams of 4 are required. Players must be 18 years of age or older.

• Team Check-in begins at 12:30pm. The event is from 1pm to 4pm.

• Food and beverages will be available for purchase during the tournament. Must be 21+ to purchase alcohol (ID required).

• Cash Challenges ($10 per 5 minute challenge). Credit Card via PayPal is also available

• No Puzzling equipment (sorting trays, puzzle tables, etc.) will be permitted. Lamps are acceptable in low-light areas of the venue.

• Portions of this event will be photographed and video recorded to be shared on social media. Please sign the media waiver prior to participating.

• Each team of four will start with the same jigsaw puzzle and battle to see which team finishes it first.
• Team members must remain the same throughout the event.

• Add some mania with our cash challenges and watch the antics ensue!

• Challenges: Challenges can be issued to other teams to slow them down. Pay $10 to slow down another team for 5 minutes in a variety of entertaining ways! The more teams you challenge, the better your odds.

• Don't want to be challenged? Pay $10 at the time your team is challenged to "bribe" your way out of doing it.

ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT LIU12 FRANKLIN COUNTY LITERACY COUNCIL and supports adult education initiatives in our local communities!

Is there a rain date/postponement date for this event?

There is no backup date for the event at this time.

If the event is postponed, are my tickets still valid?

There is no backup date at this time. If one is needed, your tickets for the original date will still be honored!

Can I pay with cash or check instead of online?

Yes! Checks should be made payable to: LIU12 Franklin County Literacy Council Please make an appointment to drop your payment off at our office at 518 Cleveland Ave., Suite 1A, Chambersburg, PA 17201) before the registration deadline. An email address will still be required so that we can reserve and email your tickets, as well as send you reminders, updates, and other important information. You may also mail your payment. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. Printed tickets are not required, but please let us know the names of your team members and your team name at least 3 days prior to the event. This will make registration smoother for everyone. Thanks!

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes! If for some reason you're unable to attend, your ticket may be used by someone else. Transfers may be completed up to 24 hours prior to the event, and the FCLC team should be notified. Please let us know the name of the person taking your place so that registration during the event goes smoothly for everyone. Compensation for the ticket is the responsibility of the two exchanging parties.

What's the refund policy?

As this is a fundraiser -there are no refunds for this event - but registration can be transferred to someone else (see above) if you're unable to attend. Generally, registration fees are donated by participants who cannot attend, but you may also choose to sell your tickets to other interested parties to recuperate the fee. Please let us know the names of the persons replacing you/your team or have them contact us. This will support a smooth registration process on the day of the event. Please note: Compensation for the ticket is the responsibility of the two exchanging parties.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to participate in the event?

Yes. The minimum age for this event is 18. ID is not required to participate in Puzzle MANIA.

Patrons wishing to purchase alcohol must be 21 or older and must be able to provide ID .

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Transportation to the event is the responsibility of the participants. There is on-site parking, handicapped parking, and the venue is handicapped accessible.

What can I bring into the event?

Outside food and beverages are discouraged. However, if you have special dietary restrictions and must bring your own items, please let us know before the event. Thanks!
