7th annual Kings Cup HEMA Tournament Day 2 (Sunday: Eliminations & Finals)
About this Event
Come and watch a HEMA sword fighting tournament in a beautiful medieval-esque church in Peterborough Ontario.
Sword fighters from across Ontario, Quebec, Hong Kong, and China are vying to become the Champion
The 7th annual Blades of Glory King's Cup HEMA Tournament will be taking place on September 19 & 20.
It is at the beautiful The Mount Community Centre, 1545 Monaghan Road, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.
There will be 4 sword fighting tournaments:
- Longsword, Open
- Longsword, Women's
- Sword Alone
- To the Death - mixed weapons
Date: September 19 & 20, 2026
Location: The Mount Community Centre, 1545 Monaghan Road, Peterborough
at the Austin Doran hall.
Sunday September 20
Morning:
- Longsword Tournament Elimination Rounds (9am to 11am)
- Women's Longsword Elimination Rounds (11am to 11:30am)
- Sword Alone Tournament Elimination Rounds (11:30am to 1pm)
Lunch 1pm to 2pm
Afternoon
- The Death Tournament
- Longsword Semi-Finals & Finals
- Sword Alone Semi-Finals & Finals
- Awards Ceremony
There will be snack foods and drinks available
Day 1 (Saturday September 19) will have round robin matches for the Longsword, Women's Longsword and the Sword Alone Tournaments
Day 2 (Sunday September 20) will have the elimination rounds and the Finals for each tournament AND the "To The Death" HEMA Tournament
