7th annual International Overdose Awareness Day 2026
This event is for anyone whose life has been touched by addiction, mental health challenges, substance use disorder, recovery, or overdose. Whether you're in recovery, supporting a loved one, working in the field, or simply want to learn more, you are welcome here.
What to Expect:
🕯️ Remembrance Wall A special place to honor and remember those we have lost to overdose. Families and friends will have the opportunity to share names, photos, and memories of loved ones whose lives deserve to be remembered.
🎤 Guest Speakers Hear powerful stories of recovery, resilience, hope, and survival from individuals whose lives have been directly impacted by addiction and overdose.
📚 Resource Tables Connect with local organizations, recovery programs, mental health services, peer support specialists, treatment providers, and community resources that can help individuals and families find support.
💦 Dunk Tank with Special Surprise Guests Take a break, have some fun, and help support the cause as special guests step up to the dunk tank. You never know who might end up in the water!
💜 Recovery & Community Meet others who understand the journey. Whether you're in active recovery, considering recovery, supporting a loved one, or grieving a loss, this is a place where you can connect with people who truly care.
Every overdose death leaves behind grieving families, broken hearts, and unanswered questions. Every person struggling with addiction deserves compassion, support, and the opportunity to recover.
Together we can:
• Raise awareness about overdose prevention • Reduce stigma surrounding addiction and mental health • Promote recovery and hope • Share life-saving resources • Educate our community about intervention, treatment, and support options • Remember those we've lost while fighting for those still here
Addiction does not discriminate. It affects every age, every background, every neighborhood, and nearly every family in one way or another.
Come honor. Come learn. Come remember. Come support.
Because every life matters. Every recovery matters. Every conversation matters.
