Join us for the Hearts BBQ Backpack Giveaway, a free, family-friendly community event dedicated to helping local students start the school year prepared and confident.

📍 Location: Drug Emporium (2550 Barrow st.)
⏰ Time: 9am-11:30am
Each year, this event brings together families, volunteers, and local businesses to provide free backpacks and school supplies to students in our community. What started in 2020 with just 30 backpacks has grown into a deeply needed annual tradition — serving over 1,300 children last year alone.
✨ What to Expect:
• Free backpacks filled with school supplies!
• A fun, welcoming environment for families
• Community partners, volunteers, and local support
• A reminder of the love and generosity Abilene is known for

Big Country families and students in need of school supplies. No registration required.
