About this Event

The 7th Annual Garrett Fifield Memorial Mutt Strut is being held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 5th, 2024 at the Rotary Shelter at Butler Memorial Park.

Mutts and their two-legged friends will strut their stuff in memory of loved ones gone too soon like Garrett, who was known for his kind heart and commitment to animals.

This year, we have a wonderful opportunity to support local children who have been diagnosed with ADHD and who attend the After School Alternatives Program (ASAP). Garrett attended the program for several years and it taught him the skills needed for active listening and sustained focus.

Our goal is to help provide assistive learning tools, group therapy supplies and recreational equipment. Our ultimate goal is to have the Carnegie Science Center hold an educational program at the ASAP location for the children to enjoy.

The event features costume contests for the pups and kids, a prize wheel, raffle baskets and more! While the strut is dog friendly, dogs are not required to participate!
