7th Annual Cornhole and Cocktails Festival

Manatee Sunrise Kiwanis Club's 7th Annual Cornhole & Cocktails Festival! July 18th, 2026 from 2-7 at the Manatee County Fairgrounds

Cornhole & Cocktails Festival will have a fun indoor cornhole tournament, music, food, drinks and raffles. There will be restaurants with samples of their food and cocktails along with breweries, wineries and distilleries with samples of their selections! Guests are invited to enter the Veterans Hall located in Palmetto, FL and try as many different food and drink items they wish! MVP Sports and Social Club will be hosting the cornhole tournament for our FUNdraising Festival!

This event will be for ages 21 and older. Free parking is available on the fairgrounds.

1. This is a FUNdraiser tournament for Kiwanis Against Hunger, so rule #1 is to HAVE FUN!
2. This is not a blind draw tournament. It is encouraged to bring partners, but we are accepting free agents.
3. SIGN-UP IN ADVANCE ONLY! CUT OFF ON FRIDAY 6PM TO PREPARE THE BRACKETS! During ticket purchase, you will be prompted to select your division and team/free agent.
4. There will be 4 divisions:

🍺 PARTY division must use house bags and will play from 23’.

🤙🏼 LOWER LIT division can use their own bags and will play from 23’.

🤙🏼 UPPER LIT division can use their own bags and will play from 23’.

🔥 FIRE division can use their own bags and will play from 27’.

⏰ To play in the cornhole tournament, please register your team name and division level when buying tickets on Eventbrite! MVP Sports & Social will be making the brackets in advance this year to start the tournament at 2!

🚨 Your ticket does not have you entered in the tournament. To enter the tournament you must register when purchasing your ticket on Eventbrite. Please include your Team Name or Free Agent. Once you purchase your tickets, the questions will prompt you before checking out.

DIVISIONS

🍺 Beginner/PARTY: This division will play at 23’ and the players must use house bags.

• You’re just hoping to get it on the board.

• You’re new to cornhole and don’t want to play someone who can consistently make it in the hole.

• You don’t want to play against someone who takes it seriously.

• You’re attending to party.

Board Distance: 23’ and the players must use house bags.

💪🏼 Intermediate/LIT: This division will play at 23’ and the players can use house bags or bring their own.

• You expect/hope to make 2 bags on the board and 1 in the hole per round.

• You aren't a die hard cornhole player, but enjoy the atmosphere MVP has created around the sport and as a result you have become consistent at landing it on the board and sometimes in the hole.

• You don’t want to play against someone who takes it seriously.

• You’re attending to party.

Board Distance: 23’ and the players can use their own bags.

💪🏼 Intermediate/UPPER LIT: This division will play at 23’ and the players can use house bags or bring their own.

• You expect/hope to make all 4 bags on the board with at least 2 in the hole per round.

• You aren't a die hard cornhole player, but enjoy the atmosphere MVP has created around the sport and as a result you have become good at the game because of it.

• You don’t want to play against anyone who takes it seriously.

• You’re attending to party.

Board Distance: 23’ and the players can use their own bags.

🔥 Advanced/FIRE: This division will play at 27’ and the players can use house bags or bring their own.

• You seek tournaments out or try to play as much cornhole as possible outside of MVP.

• You can consistently make it in the hole 2-3 times and hope to make all 4.

• You take cornhole seriously.

• You’re attending to play cornhole.

Board Distance: 27’ and the players can use their own bags.

🚨 Remember, the cornhole tournament is just a side quest to the main event which is supporting the Kiwanis Club, the sponsors, and getting rowdy!
