7th Annual Canal Park Kid’s Fishing Derby

Hosted by Old Canal Fishing Club and Pickaway County Park District

The Kid Fish Youth Fishing Tournament is for children, ages 3-15. It will be held at Canal Park at 23352 Canal Rd, Circleville, OH 43113, on Saturday, June 27th, 2026 from 9:00am - 12pm.

The check begins at 9am. We advise you to come earlier to get a spot.

Fishing begins at 9:30am. No Lines in prior to start.

*Only 15 spots per age group*

Children will need to be accompanied by an adult. The tournament will be followed by an award ceremony, hot dog lunch and prize

RULES:

Check in starts at 9am. You will be checked in and dismissed to find your spot along the Canal. Lines go in at 9:30am

Around 11:30 we will do a last call. Please go to The shelter house after last call for the ceremony.

We will have several teams to stroll the canal to weigh and count your fish. This will allow you not to leave your spots and to keep fish alive.

The Waiver of Responsibility must be signed by parent or guardian.

You must be ages 15 or younger to participate.

All state, federal and local game and fish laws apply and must be observed by all participants.

Bring your own fishing equipment.

Biggest and Most Fish will receive a prize. Per age group. Cannot win both categories.
