7th Annual Brotherhood Strong Ride

On October 10, 2025, Tate was diagnosed with non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis. His condition has continued to worsen, and he has now reached the point where a liver transplant will ultimately be necessary for him to survive.
Since his diagnosis, Tate has endured multiple hospitalizations and ICU stays, including episodes of dangerously low blood pressure and hepatic encephalopathy, a serious complication of advanced liver disease.
On July 28, 2026, Tate experienced another medical crisis when he went into respiratory distress and had to be placed on a ventilator. His family continues to pray and fight for his recovery while working to get him the specialized care he needs.
Adding to the financial burden, Tate lost his health insurance after losing his job with Dollar General in March. Anita and the family have been working tirelessly to obtain Medicaid coverage so Tate can be evaluated by transplant specialists at Duke.
Now, Red Knights NC 24 is asking our community to come together and help support Tate and Anita.
This benefit ride is more than a motorcycle ride—
it is a show of brotherhood, friendship, love, and community.
Funds raised will help Tate and Anita with medical expenses, travel for medical care, household expenses, and the many unexpected costs that come with this difficult journey.
Every rider. Every donor. Every share. Every prayer.
It all makes a difference.
Please join Red Knights NC 24 as we RIDE FOR TATE.
If you cannot participate in the ride, please consider making a donation or sharing the event with others.
