In a powerful musical dedication, acclaimed vocalist Tammy McCann — Chicago’s 2020 Jazz Person of the Year — presents excerpts from her original concert production, 75 Years of Mahalia Jackson at Carnegie Hall, honoring the legendary Gospel icon whose voice helped shape the spiritual and civil rights consciousness of America.

Presented by The Coalition of Black House Museums & the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, this sacred gathering celebrates the life, music, and global impact of Mahalia Jackson within one of the most historically significant Black homes in America.
