Join us on January 24th and 25th at the Carriage House to celebrate the Lowcountry’s winter blooms at the 74th Annual Camellia Flower Show, presented by the Coastal Carolina Camellia Society. This long-standing tradition showcases hundreds of camellia blossoms grown by enthusiasts from across the region, each bloom competing for top honors in a variety of categories. In addition to the flower show, visitors can browse a camellia plant sale, featuring a variety of camellias ready to take home. Guests are invited to explore the vibrant display of camellias and speak with experts from the Coastal Carolina Camellia Society, who will be available to answer questions about growing and caring for these timeless flowers.
Event Schedule-
Saturday, January 24th:
• Accepting Entries for Judging: 7:00 AM–9:30 AM
• Judging Begins: 10:30 AM
• Open to the Public: 1:00 PM–4:00 PM
Sunday, January 25th:
• Open to the Public: 10:00 AM-2:00 PM

Interested in Entering Your Own Camellias?
Anyone is welcome to participate! Whether you’re an experienced grower or simply have a beautiful camellia blooming in your yard, you’re invited to bring your own flowers to be judged in the show. If you are interested in bringing and entering flowers to be judged at the show you may obtain a show schedule with rules for bloom entry by contacting the club at: [email protected]. Assuming favorable weather, visitors can expect to see over 600–800 camellia blooms in competition, with prizes awarded across multiple categories.
