A time-honored Colonial Beach tradition, the Annual Potomac River Festival kicks off Friday evening with the Artist Guild's 2nd Friday Artwalk🎨🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ and the “Loud and Proud” Colonial Beach Volunteer Fire Department’s Parade🚒and beauty pageant. Throughout the weekend there will be a Grand Feature Parade, Pet Parade, Boat Parade, kids zone, music, food and craft vendors, and fireworks 🎆. The event takes place on Town Hill (corner of Colonial and Washington Avenues). The Annual Potomac River Festival occurs the 2nd weekend in June.
