Join us for a garden paver barn quilt making workshop at Soule Homestead! Children are welcome to join their grown up to work on a paver together for this workshop.
Participants will learn to make their very own 12x12 cement paver barn quilt perfect for your garden. Join us in learning to make this delightful folk art tradition. Brought over to the US by Europeans this historic craft was used to help decorate barns and even used during the American Revolution to help Patriot forces find much needed supplies according to Art & Object magazine.
All supplies are all included in this workshop. Come ready to get creative. Participants should dress for mess. Aprons are recommended, but not required.
