Join the filmmakers and film fans around Frederick and surrounding areas to LAUNCH 72 Film Fest Year 19. Come, enjoy some music AND try to figure out what this year's SECRET THEME will be as we countdown the hours before we launch filmmakers into a weekend of filmmaking! Starting around 8pm teams will finally get an idea of what we are asking them to do this year!
Then all of the films will screen at Weinberg Center on Oct 11 and 12!
In addition to the short films all teams will be required to make over the weekend, teams were challenged to make a fake/fun 30 Second Movie Theater ad over the Summer that will play before the movies at the Weinberg.
Food and Drink will be available for purchase.
All are welcome - filmmakers, screen artists of all kinds, and film fans alike.
