70th Anniversary Celebration and Awards Luncheon

Join us to celebrate 70 years of empowering women, one chapter at a time!

The Naperville chapter of AAUW was founded in 1956. We’ll highlight a legacy of community activism, book sales and programming, while learning about this year’s accomplishments and future plans. This event is our annual meeting; we promise the smiles will be many and the business “chapter” of the meeting will be short.

Our speaker and amazing 2026 Woman of the Year is Elizabeth Braham Spencer -- a longtime champion of Naperville’s stories, people, and civic life who has served more than 20 years as Executive Director of Naperville Community Television (NCTV17).

We’ll also meet the inspiring recipients of our 2026 Angeline Gale, STEM and Future of America High School scholarships.

Social time starts at 11 a.m.; luncheon and program at 11:15.
