Join us on Friday, September 11th at Mount Trashmore as we remember and honor the lives lost during the tragic events of 9/11.
Our challenge: Climb Mount Trashmore 7 times, the equivalent of the distance first responders climbed to reach the top of the World Trade Center Towers on that day.
Date & Time: Sept. 11 - 7:30 AM short ceremony to honor the fallen then hiking to follow, but all are welcome to participate in the event all day!
Location: Mount Trashmore, 2250 A Street SW, Cedar Rapids, IA
What: 7 climbs to honor the courage and sacrifice of our first responders.
Cost: Free
Who’s Invited: Open to the public – especially Fire, Police, and EMT personnel.
Let’s come together to honor our fellow Americans and the heroes who gave everything that day.
