Join Power is Giving for another impactful installment of our Eat Drink Disrupt (EDD) Talks Lunch & Learn series featuring returning guest physician and community favorite, Cliff Morris, MD, FACC.
Titled, “Disrupting Chronic Illness: A Cardiologist’s Prescription for Optimal Wellness & Longevity,” this engaging and empowering session will explore how lifestyle medicine and whole food, plant-based nutrition can support the prevention and arrest of many of today’s top lifestyle-driven chronic illnesses, including coronary artery disease (CAD), congestive heart failure, hypertension, type 2 diabetes and more.
ABOUT DR MORRIS
A double board-certified preventive cardiologist and lifestyle medicine specialist, Dr. Morris is founder and president of the Morris Cardiovascular & Risk Reduction Center in Southside Virginia, where he is helping patients and communities rethink what prevention, longevity and optimal wellness can truly look like through evidence-based lifestyle intervention.
Long before medicine, Dr. Morris played varsity basketball at UNC Chapel Hill during the Michael Jordan era alongside teammates Michael Jordan and Kenny Smith. Today, he brings that same discipline, focus and leadership into his work helping individuals better understand the powerful connection between nutrition, movement, prevention and long-term wellness.
