About the Authors
Laura Apol is the author of six full-length collections of poetry, including A Fine Yellow Dust and most recently, Cauterized. Winner of the Midwest Book Award, silver-medal winner of the Independent Publishers Book Award, and finalist for the Julie Suk award, she is a professor at Michigan State University and past poet laureate for the Lansing area.
Elizabeth Martin Solsburg grew up in Ann Arbor and is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Loyola University Her poetry has appeared in multiple journals and in the newly-released anthology, Serious Fun, published by Zeitgeist Press.
Claire Weiner was born in Chicago and raised in the Chicago suburbs. Except for a decade in Los Angeles, she has spent most of her adult life in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She spent her decades-long, non-writing career working as a psychotherapist, helping people make more sense of their life stories. She began writing in earnest when her children were grown. Her work has been published widely. The Sun Finds Us, published by Luchador Press this year, is her second book.
