Every Great Golfer Was Once a Beginner.
It's time to take that next step.
Starting with the 6th Leg, the Beginner Golf League officially welcomes all new golfers who are ready to experience tournament golf in a fun, relaxed, and beginner-friendly environment.
Whether you've just picked up the game or you're looking to gain more confidence on the course, this league was created just for you. Meet fellow beginners, learn through actual play, build your confidence, and enjoy the game without the pressure of competing against seasoned players.
To join the Beginner Golf League Competition, participants must meet at least one (1) of the following criteria:
✅ Playing golf for less than 18 months
✅ Average driving distance of 180 yards or less
✅ Played on a fairway golf course 10 times or fewer
✅ Have never broken 100 in an 18-hole round
Eligibility for Rankings & Prizes
To keep the competition fair for everyone, players with a WHS Handicap Index of 21.0 or lower are not eligible for the official Beginner Golf League rankings and prizes.
However, you're still more than welcome to join us! We'd love to have you play, enjoy the round, meet fellow golfers, and be part of the community. You'll receive all tournament inclusions and experience everything the league has to offer—you simply won't be included in the official competition rankings or prize awards.
Golf is more fun when we grow the game together.
