Let’s come together to support each other and shine a light on suicide prevention.

MY FRIEND ABBY’S SHINING TOGETHER FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION

Please join My Friend Abby’s Shining Together for Suicide Prevention on World Suicide Prevention Day, Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the Trumbull Town Hall Gazebo.

We invite you to this FREE community event to help us create hope through action, hear from guest speakers, walk together in support of one another, and take a few moments to write a message or name on a luminary. These luminaries will serve as symbols of remembrance for those affected by suicide and as beacons of hope and awareness for suicide prevention. As we close the evening, we will share a moment of silence and light a candle together. Light refreshments will be served.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with local community organizations through informational resource tables, including the Trumbull Prevention Partnership, TPAUD, the YMCA, the Trumbull Health Department, and other community partners committed to supporting mental health, wellness, and substance use prevention.
