It's back! One of the biggest pinball tournaments in Oregon! Last year we had a total of 86 players with over $2000 in cash and prizes!
Dave Dimoff is graciously constructing some bad ass trophies again for the winners. You'll want one.
All-day playing cards will be ONLY $6 and can be purchased prior to the tournament.
Ground Kontrol is going to open early at 11:00AM for the event, so get there early and register prior to 11:45. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged, and information is located down below. There will be a firm start time at noon. The amazing crew at Ground Kontrol has again offered to let us have the entire blue room all to ourselves, which will make things flow a bit more quickly and have more space to play.
The format is going to stay similar to previous years with 8 rounds of group matchplay with the top 16 moving forward to a papa style matchplay final of 4 games per round on predetermined banks.
All meaningful tiebreakers will play a head-to-head game to break the tie on the same game.
Players will be paired up randomly for the first round and Swiss format going forward with scoring at 7-5-3-1 for 4-player groups and 7-4-1 for 3-player groups.
This event will be self-reporting within your groups with TD approval through the live Matchplay website. Check with your group your posted results for mistakes prior to the next round being called.
No flip extra balls. Plunge and walk away.
Players plunging out of turn will disqualify player for that round.
No decisions will be made within your group. All decisions need to be brought to one of the 5 roaming TDs on the floor. There will be no retroactive decisions made. All issues need to be brought to a TD.
No Jerks allowed.
Excessive, forceful playing and manipulation of the pinball tables will get you tossed from the tournament and Ground Kontrol with no reimbursement.
Capped at 128 players.

New Oregon Ranking Points will be had by all!

Per usual, GK will have beverages available for purchase, along with some great kitchen options for food.
I suggest carpooling, tri-met, or parking across the street in the paid parking lot.
