6th Annual Latino Hispanic Cultural Celebration

Create Dunwoody will bring the sights, sounds, flavors and traditions of Latin America to the Ashford Lane Lawn for the 6th Annual Latino Hispanic Cultural Celebration on Sunday, September 13, from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
The annual community celebration will feature an afternoon of music, dance, cultural performances, demonstrations, food samples and hands-on experiences representing countries and traditions from across Latin America. Wendy Corona, WSB-TV Channel 2 Action News anchor, will also be part of this year’s celebration.
New this year, Create Dunwoody will present a Traditional Attire Fashion Show, showcasing clothing and cultural traditions from different countries and regions. Guests can also participate in the new Latino Hispanic Passport Challenge, visiting participating booths and activities to collect stamps or initials. Completed passports can be turned in for prizes.
The entertainment lineup brings together local performers, cultural organizations and dance groups, including the Peruvian Cultural Association | Aklla Sumaq, Corners Outreach, Aatma Dance Studio, Los de Ida y Vuelta, Alliance Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, singer Veronica Gleasson, Los Niños Primero and Pasofino Dance Studio.
Throughout the lawn, guests can explore demonstrations, exhibits and activities from Face Painting by Isabel Rodriguez, Piñatas HereUGo, Made by Mars, Allen and Hue, Humana, La Flanera, HCN Global and AT&T.
Food and culture will come together at Country Tables presented by the Dunwoody High School HoPe Club, where students and community members will share information and samples representing Guatemala, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia and Honduras. The National Charity League Dunwoody Chapter will also provide Mexican popsicles for attendees.
Sponsors of the 2026 celebration include the City of Dunwoody, Ashford Lane, AT&T, Humana and HCN Global/Kite.
