Participating locations include but are not limited to:
Town of Benson
Princeton Community Action
Bentonville Battlefield
Town of Archer Lodge
Town of Clayton
Town of Selma
Kenly Parks and Recreation
Howell Woods Environmental Learning Center
Triangle Land Conservancy's Flower Hill Nature Preserve
Businesses, churches, youth groups, neighborhoods, civic groups, families, and individuals across the county are invited to participate.
Details:
- Our goal is to work with local parks and recreation departments and nonprofit organizations in towns across the county, as well as NC DOT as part of the Litter Sweep initiative.
- Registration is required for litter cleanup in public spaces.
- Supplies will be provided at each location as available, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.
