The 67th annual Blessing of the Fleet in Destin, Fl. will take place on Thursday, May 9th 2024. Blessing of the Fleet takes place every year, this long-standing tradition celebrates our local fisherman and the maritime community in an afternoon filled with blessings, community spirits and festivities. AJ's is honored to be apart of this community wide event. Each year AJ's provides the Rodeo Barge as a vessel for pastors to stand on that will bless the boats one by one as they proceed in a line down the harbor- wishing them safe passage and bountiful catches for the 2024 season.
Date: Thursday, May 9th
Time: 4PM Boats being to lineup in the Destin Harbor, there is also a prayer service under the tent at Destin Fishing Fleet.
5PM Blessing of the Fleet begins
Location: All along the Destin Harbor, this will be the one time you can witness this many boats in the harbor.

- Come witness Destin's impressive Fishing Fleet as we gather for the annual blessing. Destin Fishing Fleet now boasts the largest fishing fleet in North America with over 125 charter boats.
- Be part of this longstanding tradition that brings the community together to celebrate our local fisherman and maritime heritage.
- AJ's is opening up our parking lot on the north side of Harbor Blvd. for all event attendees for this community event.
- Enjoy the beautiful view at AJ's on our top deck with live musical performance by Jarred McConnell or get our famous Bimini Bash and stroll down the Destin Harbor. You can also enjoy live music down on the harbor in our Tiki Village by musical duo TJ & Brad.
