Bolt Manor, built in 1885, has been a joy to the homeowners with weddings, Senior pictures, family reunions, campfires, and Santa visits. The homeowners have several art pieces by their own daughters who are local artists. Note the stained-glass pieces that were made personally by the homeowners. The striking tree houses are custom-built. The lower level features a must-see toy room filled with collectables. Bolt Manor is decorated according to each holiday and season, Christmas being one of the homeowners’ favorites. At Christmas, the home is filled with sentimental ornaments, décor, and too many trees to count.

This charming home was built in 1906 in the Colonial Revival style. It was named the Kelley House after Winifred B Kelley, a local lawyer and president of the Jackson County Title Company. The home is located in the Harry S Truman National Historic District.

The current homeowners have styled the home in a modern interpretation of Art Nouveau, a style widely popular at the turn of the century, celebrating the home’s original spirit. The Art Nouveau style is known for Whiplash lines, Nature motifs, the Human form, and color palettes of sage green, olive, mustard, brown, and lilac.
