Learn all the Yang flow sequences created by Yin Yoga founders Paul and Suzee Grilley. These Yang sequences are an amalgamation of yoga, dance, and qigong movements. Students will leave this training feeling inspired and confident in teaching the creative and fun sequences of “The Grilleys.” These active Yang sequences complement the static Yin poses within a Yin practice. Learn how to sequence all the Yang practices with the Yin poses to offer creative classes for your yoga community.Students will also learn the art of teaching the original Yoga Nidra first created by Swami Satyananda. As a direct disciple of this lineage, students will learn this practice directly from Jo Phee, as taught to her by her alma mater, the Satyananda Yoga Academy.
Upon completion of 100% attendance, students will be awarded the Yinspiration 60-hour certification, which can be applied towards their continuing education hours with Yoga Alliance USA. This certificate is also eligible for the Yinspiration 300-hour certification.
As the first yoga school in the world to create a 500-hour Yin Yoga certification program, this comprehensive training is designed in accordance with the requirements for registration with Yoga Alliance USA. Upon graduation, students may apply directly with Yoga Alliance USA for “YACEP” status or accumulate these hours towards Yinspiration’s 300/500/1000-hour certifications.
PREREQUISITES
This training is suitable for anyone interested in teaching Yin Yang Flow. No prior experience or pre-reading is required. However, for those pursuing their 300-hour certification, a minimum of one year of Yin Yoga experience is required.

A senior international Yin Yoga trainer, Jo Phee is well-known in the Yin community as a teacher’s teacher. She is highly respected worldwide for her expertise in Chinese Medicine, Functional Anatomy, and Fascia Science, and for her creative ability to interweave these modalities into Yin Yoga. Her teachings blend the science of Western Anatomy with Eastern Medicine and Philosophy. She is a Senior Lead Assistant to the Yin Yoga founder.
