The Sound of Music soundtrack album is 60 years old and it topped the UK album charts for an unprecedented 70 weeks in total between 1965 and 1968!
It was pressed at Decca Records in New Malden in 1965 and I celebration of this New Malden Residents' Association and The Community Brain are holding a free Sound of Music event on Saturday 13 September 2025.

Everyone is invited of any singing ability.
Dress code?
Come as a nun, of course, or your favourite character from the film, otherwise please wear all black. We will have some nun head dresses to hand out.
