In this class, you will learn the basics of several different styles of dance to use on the social dance floor, including very popular styles like Salsa, Cha Cha, Bachata, and more! The beauty of the class is that you can choose to dance socially with others, dance alone, or choose to dance with a specific partner/spouse. You will have options within the class to switch partners, meet new people, or learn "solo-styling" on your own if you'd rather. The class will start with a light warm-up, followed by learning the basic steps of up to 4 different useful social dances. As spring and summer approach, the SML community has live music, parties, and social dancing opportunities throughout Franklin and Bedford from Hardy and Moneta to Wirtz and Huddleston. Be prepared to dance at any concert or event by learning social dancing now! Join us every Tuesday at 4 pm!
