You've got the basics down, you've centered your clay, and now you're hungry for more. This 6-week intermediate workshop is your next step — a chance to slow down, dig deeper, and really start to grow as a maker on the wheel.
Led by the talented Christine from Magpie Tree Pottery, each week builds on the last as you explore more ambitious techniques — pulling taller walls, throwing more refined forms, and developing the kind of control and consistency that turns a good pot into a great one. Christine's warm, encouraging teaching style means you'll be challenged just the right amount while having an absolute ball in the studio.
Whether you're looking to refine your technique, tackle new forms, or simply spend six wonderful weeks with your hands in clay and good people around you — this is the workshop for you.
Each student will create pieces across the six sessions and choose your favourites to be fired and glazed to take home and treasure.

To create a relaxed, supportive studio environment, our classes are kept small so each participant receives individual tuition. As spaces are limited, refunds are not available.
We’re happy to reschedule your booking to another class date if you let us know in advance. Please note that changes cannot be made within 7 days of the scheduled class.
