6 Week Beginner Wheel Throwing Pottery Class

Now offering 5 openings for a 6 week beginner friendly wheel throwing course! Led by Instructor Blaine Dahlman-Oeth, we’ll go over all the necessary basics to start making your own ceramic vessels.
The goal of this 6 week class is to give you the skills needed to form basic cup and bowl shapes. We will go over handling and wedging clay, throwing and creating vessels, the basics of trimming, and how to glaze.
At the end of this course you will walk away with all of the vessels you made during this 6 week period.
This class is open to ages 16+ and is for those who have zero to very little experience with a potter’s wheel.
Before each class, please make sure your hair is pulled up, no loose clothing, and nails trimmed. You will likely get dirty, so please dress accordingly.
Price is $300 per person, price includes all supplies and instructions.
Class starts at 10am and runs to 12pm every Saturday from Sep 5th-Oct 10th.

We also have Open Studio during all open hours. Stop in and choose from our selection of surfaces to paint, DIY projects, canvas paintings, resin, fluid art, or just about anything you can dream up. If you don't see it, just ask. If we have the stuff to do it, we can make it happen.
Tickets must be canceled 24 hours in advance to receive a refund. Store credit can be given with a minimum of 8 hours notice.
