Have you always wanted to learn watercolor painting but weren't sure where to begin?

Join us for a relaxing and creative 6-week Beginner Watercolor Course designed for adults and teens. No previous watercolor experience is required!

Each week, you’ll learn new watercolor techniques through step-by-step guided instruction and create a beautiful painting while building your confidence and skills.

This course is designed to take you from the basics of watercolor to creating a completed final artwork.

🎨 WEEK 1 — Watercolor Basics & Color Mixing

Start with the fundamentals of watercolor painting.

You’ll learn:

• How to use watercolor paints and brushes
• Water-to-paint control
• Wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques
• Basic brush strokes
• Color mixing and blending
• Light and dark values

Project: 🌈 Colorful Watercolor Flower Garden

WEEK 2 — Sky, Clouds & Sunset

Learn how to create beautiful watercolor skies and smooth color transitions.

You’ll practice:

• Creating soft washes
• Blending colors
• Creating clouds
• Building layers
• Creating light and atmosphere

Project: 🌅 Sunset Lake Landscape with Mountains & Clouds

🌸 WEEK 3 — Flowers & Leaves

Explore loose and expressive watercolor techniques while painting beautiful flowers.

You’ll learn:

• Simple flower shapes
• Petal and leaf brush strokes
• Layering colors
• Creating highlights and shadows
• Adding fine details

Project: 🌷 Colorful Watercolor Floral Bouquet

🌲WEEK 4 — Trees & Nature

Learn how to create natural textures and depth in a landscape.

You’ll practice:

• Painting evergreen and deciduous trees
• Creating foliage textures
• Using light and dark washes
• Creating depth between the foreground and background
• Adding a pathway and natural details

Project: 🌲 Watercolor Forest Landscape

🏔️ WEEK 5 — Water, Reflections & Light

Discover how to paint water and realistic-looking reflections.

You’ll learn:

• Horizontal watercolor strokes
• Painting reflections
• Creating mountains and distant scenery
• Understanding light and shadows
• Combining sky, land and water

Project: 🏔️ Mountain Lake with Reflections

🖼️ WEEK 6 — Final Watercolor Painting

Bring everything you’ve learned together!

You’ll plan your composition and use the techniques practiced throughout the course to create a finished watercolor painting.

You’ll work on:

• Composition
• Background washes
• Layering
• Light and shadows
• Details and finishing touches

Final Project: 🖼️ A Finished Watercolor Landscape or Nature Painting

You’ll finish the course with a completed artwork you can proudly take home!
