Come for food and fellowship to the 5th Sunday Luncheon potluck on Sunday, March 30th, directly following the service in the Fellowship Hall. The church will provide the main dish; feel free to bring a side dish to share!
There will also be a bake sale hosted by UWF (United Women In Faith) during the luncheon. Proceeds support UWF programs, including Gadsden School projects, community support, and other mission projects. Contact Dewilla Hooper for more information on UWF at [email protected].
After the Luncheon, at about 1:00 PM, Ben Gosden will be doing a reading and Lenten discussion from his new book - Grace Rediscovered. Join us to hear Ben’s story “of rediscovering grace, not in some far-off, distant place, but in the everyday moments of healing and surrender.” His book reflects on how God transformed his greatest brokenness into a life with new meaning. Whether you are familiar with the twelve steps to recovery or new to the concept, this discussion of how Ben rediscovered God’s miraculous grace can offer something valuable to anyone seeking hope and trying to rediscover balance in life and grace for themselves. Books will be for sale, and after the reading, Ben will hold a Lenten discussion and book signing.
