5th of July Fireworks Cleanup! - 7th Annual

For the 7th year in a row, Wick Thomas will be hosting a 5th of July Park Cleanup! Each year, there are thousands of pounds of firework trash left in our parks, but not here in District 19!
If you'd like to take on a bigger role as lead for one of these parks, please let us know!
We'll meet up at the Colonnade on the Concourse at Kessler Park to distribute gloves, trash pickers, water, and trash bags, clean up the Concourse, then fan out to local parks.
Currently, our clean up list includes:

Budd Park
Lykins Square Park
Sheffield Park
Our public spaces are the cornerstones of our community, and our team is committed to keeping them beautiful for all of us to enjoy!
