About this Event
5th East of England Global Health Conference
Partnership that Deliver: Equitable, Effective and Sustainable Global Health
HYBRID - Robinson College, University of Cambridge **
9.30am – 5pm followed by a drinks reception
Global health is at a crossroads. Geopolitical shifts and wider structural reforms are reshaping how health is financed, governed and delivered, even as need and inequity intensify.
This year’s East of England Global Health Conference brings together academics, clinicians, medical students, and global health professionals from business, industry, and health policy to explore examine pressing global health challenges and what it takes for partnerships to truly deliver. It will shine a light on practical, proven partnership models that are grounded in equity, driven by mutual learning, and focused on long‑term systems strengthening.
At the heart of the conference is a belief that global health and local health are deeply interconnected. Well-designed global health partnerships improve health outcomes on both sides – strengthening clinical practice, leadership, innovation and workforce development. For the UK NHS, they support ongoing transformation.
Through real-world case studies, evidence-informed approaches and diverse voices from across the UK and international partner institutions, the conference will examine how health partnerships deliver impact that is equitable, effective and sustainable.
CGHP is very grateful to our conference sponsor, , a global healthcare consultancy and certified B Corp that is committed to ethical and sustainable business practices.
