With support from the Chinese Archery Program, we are honored to be able to hold a CAP archery event again this year in The Netherlands.
The 5th annual Chinese Archery Program Europe will be held September 11, 12, 13, 2026 at the Archery club O.B.K. Hapert, The Netherlands.
Registration:
Spaces are limited to 30. Additional registrants will be placed on a waitlist. Registration fee is €175 for the weekend. Lunch included. Participants must have their own equipment (bow, arrows, thumb ring).
The weekend will feature instruction, practice, talks, and discussions about traditional Chinese archery. All skill levels are welcome.
Program Details:
Shooting activities include technical work at the gaozhen (close-range bale for working on form), shooting from multiple distances, the Archery Ritual (a pillar of Chinese archery culture), as well as archery games. Lectures will cover a range of topics. On Sunday, there will be a video meeting with Jie Tian and Justin Ma.
Saturday evening there will be a BBQ held at O.B.K. Hapert (cost of BBQ €25, not included in registration fee).

Registration deadline is 30 June 2026. Registration is considered complete once payment and completed registration form are received.
For those who are eligible*, there will be Tian-Ma School pin exams on 10 September 2026. Exam fee is €35. Please make sure you mark on the registration form if you will be taking the exam. It is important to know beforehand who will be taking the exam so we can arrange paperwork from America, time on the range, etc...
If you are taking the exam (7pin) , please bring a recent passport photo.
*Eligibility: Prior CAP participation, either in America or Europe.
