βΎοΈππΏπΊπΈ Calling all Woodridge Baseball Players & Fans! βΎοΈππΏπΊπΈCancel your plans and circle the date as we celebrate youth baseball in Woodridge with our 5th Annual Skills Challenge Competition and All-Star Games for our Instructional, Pinto, and Mustang Divisions on Saturday, June 13th at the Orchard Park baseball fields.
The Skills Challenge will be open to 40 players in each division regardless if they made their leagues All Star roster. Players MUST be registered In-House Woodridge Baseball Players in the division they registered for. The sign-up link will be posted on our website and on our Facebook page soon!
The Skills Challenge will consist of four stations:
Base Running Speed
Hitting
Pitch Accuracy (The Dunk Tank returns!)
Long Toss
Instructional & Pinto Players will need to check-in at 2:45pm with a 3pm start. Mustang Players will need to check-in at 3:15pm with a 3:30pm start.
All participants will be provided surprise gifts, a hotdog and water after the Challenge with an Awards Ceremony occurring after all participants have finished their events. The Skills Challenge will take approximately 2 - 2.5 hours with a break prior to the All Star Games that will begin between 7pm-7:30pm.
The awards ceremony will recognize the division winners of the Skills Challenge and also allow parents and fans to take pictures of all of our Players together as we sing the National Anthem as a league.
With the generosity of our Supporters, hotdogs, pizza, popcorn, water, Gatorade and popsicles will be available to all Players and on a first come, first serve to our fans at no cost.
