The 5th Annual SummerFest will return to downtown Henderson on Saturday, May 16, 2026, featuring a free concert, community activities, and fundraising efforts benefiting Experiencing Autism Together.The event will take place at the intersection of Water and Second streets, with music beginning at 5 p.m. CDT. This year’s festival expands to four acts, including headliner THE CRASHERS, along with Paralandra, Southern Sirens, and Flat Stanley Jr.
Festival activities will begin at 5 p.m. and include a beer garden, vendor booths, children’s activities, and local food options.
SummerFest organizers said the event continues to grow in both attendance and community impact in its fifth year.
“This fifth year feels like a true milestone for us,” co-founder Jonathan Dixon said. “What started as an idea to bring people together for a great cause has grown into something the entire community supports. This year’s lineup is the biggest and most exciting yet.”
Co-founder Brian Bishop said the event continues to evolve while maintaining its original mission.
“Each year we look for ways to improve the experience and expand our impact,” Bishop said. “At its core, SummerFest is about bringing people together and making a difference in our community.”
While admission is free, the event is designed to raise awareness and support for local charitable organizations. The 2026 beneficiary is Experiencing Autism Together, a nonprofit that provides programs and resources for individuals and families affected by autism.

A limited number of reserved VIP tables is available. Tables are priced at $1,000 and include seating for eight, premium viewing, and access to artist meet-and-greet opportunities. Reservations can be made by emailing [email protected].
THE CRASHERS, known for their high-energy performances and extensive song catalog spanning multiple decades, have built a national reputation as a premier live entertainment act. The band has performed across the country and shared stages with artists including Luke Bryan, Aerosmith, Kid Rock, and Blake Shelton. Members of the group have earned gold and platinum certifications and have appeared on national programs such as The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and Late Night with Conan O’Brien. Their live shows emphasize audience interaction and a wide-ranging setlist designed to keep crowds engaged throughout the night.
PARALANDRA, based in Springfield, Missouri, is a national touring rock band led by father-and-daughter duo Paul and Casandra Carson. With Billboard-charting hits such as “Love Will Win” and major festival appearances including Rocklahoma and SXSW, the group continues to gain momentum as a rising act in modern rock.
Southern Sirens, a Louisville and Southern Indiana-based duo, perform a mix of original music and covers across multiple genres.
Flat Stanley Jr., an Owensboro-based rock duo, will open the event with a high-energy set featuring crowd-favorite classic hits to kick off the evening at 5 p.m.
SummerFest was established in 2022 by Henderson residents Jonathan Dixon, Brian Bishop and Greg “Moon” Mullins. The group previously launched the Henderson Wiffleball Classic and later formed the nonprofit Sons of Henderson to develop events that benefit local charities.
