**Peace and love to everyone,**
We are thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the **5th Annual St. Antonius Soccer Tournament 2025!**
**📅 Tournament Date:** September 6, 2025
**📍 Location:** CYC
**⏳ Registration Deadline:** [ August 1st ]
### **Tournament Registration Requirements:**
- Must be born in **2005 or earlier** to be eligible.
- Must be a **member of the Coptic Orthodox Church in the USA.**
- Must **adhere to church rules**, respect the venue, and treat others with kindness.
- A **$25 registration fee** is required.
- Registration is **individual** (not by team).
- Acceptance is **first-come, first-served**. If registration is full, you will be placed on a waiting list.
- If accepted but later unable to participate, you **must notify organizers in advance** so a replacement can be selected from the waiting list.

### **Tournament Format:**
Our goal is to include as many players as possible while ensuring a fair and competitive event.
- **If 48+ players register:** 8 teams will be formed, and the tournament will run over **two days (Saturday & Sunday).**
- **If fewer than 48 register:** Only the first **36 players** will be accepted, forming **6 teams**, and the tournament will be held on **Saturday only.**

### **Team Formation:**
To promote **fairness, balance, and fellowship**, teams will be structured as follows:
1. Players will be divided into **5 skill levels**, with goalkeepers as a separate category (determined by player voting).
2. Team selection will be conducted via **Zoom meeting** between organizers and top-level players.
3. Once finalized, we will announce the **schedule, prizes, and referees.**
We look forward to a tournament filled with **joy, sportsmanship, and unity** in Christ. May this be a time of fellowship, friendly competition, and love for one another.
