What started as a small group of ruckers showing up on Labor Day has grown into something real. This is Year 5 — and we're crossing the Mighty Mac together again.
No race. No entry fee. Just you, a backpack, and 5 miles of open sky above where Lake Michigan meets Lake Huron.
Whether it's your first ruck or your fifth crossing — you belong here.

Bring a backpack with anything in it. Weight is optional. Showing up is the mission.

The event is free. The patch is optional — and almost gone.
Only 100 patches are being made for 2026, and pre-payment is the only way to guarantee yours is held. Once they're gone, they're gone.

⏱️ No new starts after 11:30 AM
📍 You pick your turnaround — no pressure, no judgment
🚶 A 5-mile crossing takes roughly 2 hours at a walk
⬅️ Stay left — we walk the left outside lane with the official Bridge Walk flow
🎒 Over 30,000 people walk this bridge every year. Very few ruck it. You're the crew.
