5th Annual Pine Canyon Cleanup - Diablo Foothills - Weeding

Come out and help steward Mount Diablo!

This event is in partnership with the Bay Area Climbers Coalition, American Alpine Club, Mount Diablo State Park, East Bay Regional Park District, and Mount Diablo Trails Alliance. This project will be led by Save Mount Diablo staff.

FRIDAY project at Diablo Foothills Regional Park: Integrated pest management (IPM) or weeding. Volunteers will use their hands and tools to remove patches of weeds from a few areas in the Park to make more space for native plants to thrive.

Meet: Orchard Staging Area parking lot (37.896796, -121.998117)

Parking Directions: Orchard Staging Area (37.896796, -121.998117) or other parking lots at Diablo Foothills Regional Park.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

What to Bring: Water and snacks, sturdy shoes, comfy clothes with sun and/or rain protection, gloves if you have them. Gloves and tools will also be provided.
