5th Annual On The One Music Festival Featuring Carl Thomas

We are honored to announce that Grammy-nominated R&B star Carl Thomas will headline the 5th Annual On The One Music Festival on Saturday, August 8, 2026, 3PM - 9PM at Bloomington Central Station, in Bloomington!
Known for timeless hits such as “I Wish,” “Summer Rain,” and “Emotional,” as well as the Grammy-nominated duet “Can’t Believe” with Faith Evans, Carl Thomas has been one of the defining voices in R&B for more than two decades.
His classic album, “Emotional,” helped define an era of R&B and remains one of the genre’s most celebrated albums. Before launching his solo career, he was featured on The Notorious B.I.G.’s landmark album “Life After Death,” one of the most influential hip-hop albums of all time.
This marks a major milestone for On The One, as Carl Thomas becomes the first national headliner in the festival’s five-year history.
Opening acts will be these exciting artists making waves throughout the Twin Cities music scene:
L.A. Buckner & Big Homie, Bdifferent, Bakari Jackson, BdotCroc, Jhadiya Steele and The Normandale Jazz Alumni
We’re also proud to feature GenerationNOW Entertainment, the official DJ program for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Minnesota Lynx, with DJ Miss Brit, DJ Sota and DJ Mickey Breeze providing phenomenal DJ sets throughout the festival.
The festival will be hosted by Sanni Brown from Carbon Sound!
