Friends for Wishes invites you to the 5th Annual Fishing for Wishes Tournament! Fishing for Wishes is a volunteer run tournament in Aransas Pass Texas held at the Aransas Pass Civic Center on April 17-18, 2026. Its purpose is to raise funds to support Make-A-Wish® Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana. By participating in this tournament, you are helping raise money to grant wishes for kiddos with critical illnesses.
There are 2 divisions: Guided and Non-Guided
There are 3 categories that pay 1st thru 3rd in each division: Heaviest Stringer (3 Reds, 1 Trout), Heaviest Red, & Heaviest Trout.
There are also 5 side pots that pay out 1st & 2nd: Spot Pot, Sweet 17 Trout, Heaviest Flounder, Texas Slam, & Blackjack Red. Lastly, a Calcutta is offered for both divisions!
