Once again we're teaming up with Starved Rock Street Cars to bring you our free and fun Fall Colors Cruise for the 5th year.
We're kicking off this event at Aces Classic Cars in Minooka where you will find free coffee and some breakfast items available for purchase. We will depart there at 10AM promptly and take a nice scenic cruise and rolling through Illini State Park we'll take a break at the Middle East Conflicts Memorial wall in Marseilles to stretch the legs and have a bathroom break. We will depart from there at noon and continue on through Starved Rock State Park and complete the journey at IVCC in Oglesby. We will have police support to help us get through each town easily.
Upon pulling into the college, we'll have a donation bucket along with dash plaques. There will also be food trucks and some raffle baskets and a 50/50.
We have also partnered up with Toys for Tots for Will/Grundy. For every unwrapped new toy brought in, you will receive a ticket for their raffle basket. Please no stuffed animals.
We also joined forces with Just Animals, a wonderful non-profit shelter out of Mazon. See their wish list in the comments. For every item brought to them, you will also receive a raffle ticket for the basket they have created.
Event shirts will be available from SS Shirts and More with $5 for each shirt sold being donated to the cause. For an additional fee you can replace the car with your own on the design.
We are very grateful to have the support and sponsorship from Stowe Automotive in Lockport and the Tri-Chevy Association. With their very generous support, all expenses are completely paid for and everything brought in will go directly to scholarships for students in the automotive department. You all helped us raise enough last year to provide a full year scholarship to one student. The year before we was able to do two.
Click going and all updates and much more info will be posted in discussion for this event.
