5th Annual Exposing Black Artistry

Join us for the 5th Annual Exposing Black Artistry, a free, family friendly community celebration honoring Black History Month through creativity, culture, and art.

Hear the words and stories of Fort Bend County youth as the three finalists of the Youth Poetry Contest take the stage to share their original poems.
Test your knowledge and have some fun during our Black History trivia game, where four lucky contestants will compete for prizes.
All attendees are also invited to participate in a hands on collage art activity, open to all ages, where you can create and take home your own piece of art.

Whether you love poetry, history, visual art, or simply enjoy a creative and engaging afternoon, there is something for everyone.

This event is free and open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.
