The BARCS Dog Wedding Gala is backāand this yearās celebration of love, laughter, and lifesaving magic is bigger (and furrier) than ever. Weāre moving to the M&T Bank Exchange at the Hippodrome Theatre, a stunning new venue with more room for guests, incredible acoustics, and its very own attached parking garage (a small miracle in Baltimore!).
š Meet the 2026 Newlyweds: Rooney & Wendell!
Rooney was rescued by BARCS after being found emaciated and neglectedāher sweet face melting hearts the moment she met her moms and BARCS fosters, The Laurens.
Wendell was one of more than 80 āCakeā dogs saved from an illegal breeding and neglect case. With help from BARCSā medical team and the love of his family, Cyndi and Erik Kuhn, Wendell made a full recovery and is now living his best (and fluffiest) life.
This isnāt just a celebration of loveāitās a lifesaving fundraiser for the thousands of homeless, injured, and abused animals who come through BARCSā doors each year. Every ticket and sponsorship helps provide medical care, shelter, and second chances to pets who need them most.
All tickets are all-inclusiveāenjoy unlimited cocktails, a grazing-style appetizer hour, full dinner, dancing, and wedding cake to celebrate the newlyweds.
